Bradley vs Khan: Will it be a Battle of Head Butts?
Written by Ranjit Kumar Tuesday, 26 April 2011 16:27

WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan says he already agreed to fight WBC/WBO champion Timothy Bradley for a unification bout on July 23. The fight will likely take place in either Las Vegas or California. Bradley has been chasing Khan for several months and accused the British-Pakistani of ducking him. Recently, it was Khan who started accusing the American of stalling the deal.
"On July 23rd, I want to fight Tim Bradley. I have agreed on the fight and told Golden Boy to sign. Now HBO and us are waiting on Bradley and his team. The fight is more likely to be in America," said Khan.
Bradley last fought in January, getting a technical decision victory over Devon Alexander in a boring fight. Khan's last outing happened just over a week ago -- a fight that saw Amir having a terrible performance, but nevertheless getting a gift of technical decision win over European champion Paul McCloskey. Both fights were stopped because of accidental clash of heads.
If this Bradley versus Khan match ever happens, expect the fight to stink more than the two fighters' previous fights combined. Bradley and Khan will be headbutting each other till their skulls break. I see the fight as absolute rubbish, wasting HBO and fans' time and money. I see fit to call this fight the "Battle of Head Butts".
