Breidis Prescott: I will finish Khan's career

Breidis Prescott knocks out Amir Khan

Junior welterweight contender Breidis Prescott (24-2, 19 KOs) is eager and ready to fight WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KOs) anytime. Prescott said he wants Khan on July 23 if the current negotiations for a match between Khan and WBC/WBO champion Timothy Bradley (27-0-0, 11 KOs) falls apart. Prescott knocked out Khan in the first round of their 2008 bout.

Golden Boy Promotions is already looking for alternative opponents in case Bradley rejects the deal because of monetary reasons. Khan's camp has a reputation of haggling and making cheap deals with trainers and opponents. Bradley is reportedly being offered just 1.3 million dollars while Khan will be getting at least 50% more for the fight. I think Khan is too boring to deserve more than a million dollars.

I'm sure most of us agree that Khan will never face Prescott for the second time. I bet Amir is still having nightmares of his embarrasing 54-second knockout loss to Breidis. Khan can say anything he wants but the knockout he suffered against Prescott wasn't a matter of lucky punch because he was knocked down twice in that fight. Amir has terrible skills and the worst chin of all the current professional boxers.

Aside from the fact that Khan fights like an amateur, there is a big chance that fans who will watch his fights will be swindled of their hard-earned money. By having a glass chin, Khan is always in danger of being knocked out early, thus ending the fight even before fans could enjoy it. Khan also has a tendency of headbutting opponents when he feels aggravated in a fight, giving another reason for a fight to be stopped early.

"I'm ready to let you clean up the mess I made of you in England. Now it is time to take that thorn out of your side -- but I'm going to take it out and put it in your heart and finish your career for good. Amir Khan is a fraud," Prescott said. Yes, Amir is a fraud and I'm glad somebody agrees with me.
