Mikkel Kessler teaches Carl Froch a boxing lesson

Mikkel Kessler

As I have been saying all the time, Carl 'The Sloth' Froch is a bum. Froch who already earned himself 2 points during the first stage of the Super Six tournament, opted to fight cautiously early in the fight, and he paid dearly for it. Kessler attacked Froch from the opening bell, keeping a consistent jab as he relentlessly maintained the pace of his attack. Froch tried to fight back as he landed some counter shots but he could not keep up with Kessler.

In the middle rounds, Froch appeared to be hesitant to let his hands go. He was landing few pot shots here and there, but Kessler kept pressing forward and bringing the fight to Carl. Kessler, definitely the superior and hungrier fighter, appeared to be dictating the fight. In the final rounds, Froch decided to give his best in order to keep his title. He landed some shots of his own but his punches are too weak to have effects on the challenger.

In the end, the official judge's scorecards were 117-111, 115-113, and 116-112, all in favor for the winner and the new WBC super middleweight champion, Mikkel Kessler of Denmark. I watched, recorded and carefully reviewed the fight, and my scorecards are 118-110 for Mikkel. The win gives Kessler 2 points in the Super Six standing. Froch, on the other hand, gets 0 points. With such performance, I would even deduct points from whatever he has accumulated in the tournament.

Who is this Thomas Clausen? Pathetic scorecard from this imbecile Clausen...get yourself some glasses., Froch was excellent in this fight and could have won easily if he had of stepped up the pace a little more. 118 -110? It was a 1 or 2 point fight and could of gone either way. It makes me angry that someone who has such bias is allowed to write about our sport.
